Bare Bones recorded a swan song EP called "The Last Schmaltz." Only 100 copies were made and all were given away at the farewell show in May 1995. These "more elusive than elusive" five songs have been re-mastered for digital and we are delighted that they are now available to anyone who wants to hear them! Highlights include "This Harbour" and the very first version of "Lovely Is Your Name."

Bare Bones Montreal, Québec

From 1989 to 1995, Montreal duo Bare Bones (Suzanne Nuttall and Patrick Hutchinson) performed in venues from punk rock dives to coffeehouses, from Charlottetown to Whitehorse. They also opened for artists such as Johnny Clegg, Timbuk 3 and Ani DiFranco. They recorded three albums, an EP and two singles, showcasing strong originals and some striking covers.
